Project Brief:

One of Crunchsale’s recent partners is a Turkish manufacturer striving to decorate people’s homes and gardens with eye-catching metal decorations. Their sales did not see any significant change since the brand began selling on Amazon in late 2019. Insufficient time and lacking expertise in dealing with Amazon were the leading causes of this. They approached Crunchsales in 2020 with the hope of finally benefitting from the potential that Amazon offers. Within a few months, Crunchsales achieved sixteen times the original recurrent monthly income.

THE CHALLENGE

The brand attempted these key goals:

 

  • Create higher revenue
  • Increase product visibility
  • Improve organic sales
 

Their 50+ products, while labeled by high quality, were not recognized by the customers due to wrong search result positions, low Best Seller Rankings (BSR), and losing customer reviews.

Later establishing the goals with the customer, Crunchsales performed a thoroughgoing portfolio analysis. We found that to measure the customer base. There is a strong need for product detail page optimization and a clear Sponsored Advertising strategy.

Everyone knows the difficulties of making a private label on Amazon. Our popularity comes not from increasing the sales of known brands but from increasing unknown brands’ sales. We are delighted to be remembered for such works.

THE RESULTS

We were able to deliver at all defined goals. The income rose from the starting point of $3,150 (April 2020) to a monthly average of $51,640 (Apr-Oct 2020) – an increase of 1700%. The product detail pages were visited over eight times more often than before, while the conversion rate improved from 1.8% to 8.7%.

Consumers started analyzing products in the portfolio, thus fostering additional trust. As the items sold with a higher frequency, the BSR grew, making the products more visible to the users and ensuring a healthy organic sales growth. In the measured period, the client enjoyed a 1200% increase in organic sales.
